May 27 sees the kick off of National Reconciliation Week, with this year’s theme: Bridging Now to Next conveying the importance of learning from the past and pushing on towards a more united and respectful nation.

Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, according to Reconciliation Australia.

Our program manager, Catherine Coysh, was interviewed by the ABC, along with other Aboriginal leaders across Australia, about how people can get involved in practical ways.
