Declan just started on our Job Placement Support Program
Jacob has completed 12 months of mentoring on our Job Placement Support Program
After just a week of our free Work Experience Program, the team at Creative Plastering & Building Supplies knew Declan White should join them permanently.
Director Cody Whittaker offered Declan an apprenticeship and now he’s learning the trade with the deadly North Albury-based team.
“It’s an interesting job and they’re great people to work with. It’s given me a much wider view of the world,” Declan, a former Wodonga Senior Secondary student, said.
In addition to being mentored on our free Job Placement Support Program, Declan is also on our award-winning Driver-Mentor Program, building up his supervised driving hours so he can gain his Ps and his independence.
Giving young mob the best start
Creative Plastering & Building Supplies is one of almost 40 Employment Pathways Partners working with us to give young mob the best start to their careers.
A year ago, they took on another of our young participants, Jacob Beresi, who has just completed 12 months of mentoring with On-Country Pathways and is close to getting his P plates on our Driver-Mentor Program.
