Job Placement Support
Who’s it for?
Indigenous youth aged 17 to 24 who are no longer at school, who demonstrate a keen interest in a particular industry sector.
What’s involved?
Job placement support is delivered in collaboration with employment service providers and local businesses.
This could involve:
- an entry level job in a skilled or non-skilled role;
- a traineeship – 12-month job placement in a paid position that includes studying through a Registered Training Organisation to attain an accredited qualification at Certificate III level;
- a cadetship – 6-8 year placement in a paid position that includes studying through a university to attain an accredited qualification. University fees fully paid for by the employer.
Participants are supported by our team during their transition into work and continue to receive mentoring for up to a year.
